10 x 30cm/12in long White Welsh willow cuttings to be planted between November and March.
The White Welsh variety of willow is a lovely cream colour and gives a good colour contrast in basket weaving. It will grow up to a height of 1.5m or 5ft and a diameter of the rod of 8mm. It will take a few years to give a good amount of rods if coppiced on a yearly basis.
Planting instructions will be included. These willow cuttings are grown on our smallholding in Caerphilly, Wales and hand cut by Sarah Hatton.
Orders can be placed from September but won’t be dispatched until the leaves drop from the willows sometime in November. Willow can be planted until March.
