RHS show Cardiff
Providing childrens workshop in the entertainment marquee for Out to Learn Willow making dream catchers, hearts, flowers, fish and wands. Children got the opportunity to use the willow and bend it into shape and then decorate their shape with beads and feathers.

As part of the Big Basketry Gathering 2012, the Basketmakers Association Summer meeting, that was being held at the National Botanic Garden of Wales a number of us assisted artist Michelle Cain to contruct an 8ft high Wild Boar. Situated on the hillside as you enter the National Botanic Garden of Wales the boar can be seen by all. Taking 3 days to construct, which I think is a record in large willow sculpture, the boar developed immensely into a scuplture that we were all proud of.
23rd Big Basketry Gathering 2012
The Basketmakers Association Summer meeting was a perfect chance to meet up with basket makers from all over the country and featured demonstrations or workshops from Jenny Crisp, Mandy Coates, Les Llewelyn, Helen Campbell and many more. A busy and enjoyable day was had by all and it was a great opportunity to share knowledge and meet others who are enthusiastic about the world of basketmaking.

The exhibition runs for a month and contains pieces from various artists from Wales and Ireland. The exhibition is in The Gate in St Clares, West Wales and is part of the Big Basketry Gathering. I am proud to have three of my baskets in the exhibition which are shown on the left of the photo.
