These fabulous Scandinavian Christmas bark stars come from willow bark grown on our smallholding. We harvest the bark in summer when the sap makes it easy to peel off the rod. After harvesting, we dry the bark and re-soak it for an hour to make it pliable for shaping into stars.
I handcraft each Christmas bark star to showcase the unique texture and beauty of the willow bark. Once shaped, the stars dry to a hard finish, making them durable for long-lasting decorations. These beautiful stars add natural, timeless charm to your Christmas tree and bring a touch of Scandinavian tradition to your festive celebrations.
