You will have a wonderful day in a beautiful setting learning an ancient craft.
This course is £65 payable by Paypal, bank transfer or by cheque. The course will be held between 10:00am and 4:00pm in Nantgarw China Works Museum, Cardiff.
All materials and tools are provided and you take home everything you make. Please bring any refreshments, snacks and a packed lunch with you.
If the course is full you can leave your name on the waiting list. You will receive an email if a space becomes available.
Sarah Hatton, the course tutor, has been willow weaving since 2008. She has been involved in many large scale projects, most recently producing 70 gift baskets for the World Leaders attending the NATO Summit in Newport. Sarah was awarded the Craft Showcase Award 2015 at Made by Hand, Cardiff. She grows her own willow in Caerphilly which gives her a yearlong sustainable source of willow.
Guided by your tutor Sarah she will take you through the course step by step and will make sure that you go home with something you are proud of.
The course in Nantgarw is restricted to 6 people per course. This gives us plenty of space to social distance in the workshop at Nantgarw China Works Museum. Masks or visors will need to be worn at all times when in the workshop and regular hand washing will be required.
If the Welsh Government says that educational services cannot continue the course will be cancelled. Everyone booked onto the course will be given a refund in full.
If you are unable to attend a course please let us know as soon as possible.
- If a cancellation is made 28 days or more before the course start date then a full refund will be given.
