A beautiful round frame handbag basket, perfect for taking to the shops or perhaps for collecting eggs. Made using the green dicks variety of willow both soaked and steamed to give a difference in colour, by Sarah Hatton from Hatton Willow in Caerphilly.

Sarah Hatton started willow weaving in 2008. Sarah is passionate about the heritage craft of willow weaving and cares deeply about the quality and durability of the pieces that she creates. These high quality baskets have come from years of repetition and practice. When Sarah planted her own willow she realised that she could have a sustainable source of willow. She uses her own 26 varieties of different colours alongside willow from Somerset.

In stock – Your basket will be shipped within 3 working days and sent 2nd class Signed with Royal Mail
Available to order – This means your basket is on back order and it will need to be made before being sent. It can take up to 4 weeks to make your basket due to the time it takes to soak the willow and the volume of work that I already have. If you need the basket for a special event please let me know in the notes at the checkout. When your basket is ready it will be sent 2nd class Signed with Royal Mail.
